Gundaroo Puzzler: Not just your average jigsaw puzzles.

Gundaroo Puzzler: Not just your average jigsaw puzzles.

The Gundaroo Puzzler is a small family operated business located on a sheep farm just outside of Canberra in the picturesque town of Gundaroo.

A self-proclaimed "Nan and Pop" business, owners Kim and Lia McIntosh like to keep their hands in every aspect of their operation to ensure the highest quality. Making every product from scratch, "Kim cuts all the items, and Lia is the packer, wrapper and deliverer", say the couple.

These are not your typical jigsaw puzzles - although they have those too if that's your thing! The Gundaroo Puzzler's puzzles are unique 3D wooden puzzles with varying levels of difficulty. Once finished, these puzzles can be displayed in your home or taken apart to be rebuilt – the choice is yours!

The Handmade community has loved their puzzles and models for many years, and we're so excited to have them join us online.

From Australian animals, dollhouses, dinosaurs, trains, planes, and automobiles – their distinctive designs appeal to a wide range of people.

Many years of experience selling their products at markets and chatting with customers has given the couple a great insight into what people are looking for. As a result, many Gundaroo Puzzler designs are informed by customer demand.

"There is a puzzle or model to suit most people, from the simple to the very advanced," says Kim. "We take special interest in ensuring even the hardest to buy for is accommodated, and you will find puzzles to suit men, women, and children".

The couple also makes a fantastic range of Christmas themed products.

With Christmas trees, ornaments, decorations, Christmas themed lamps, and a wide range of gift ideas – they're always a popular choice for Christmas shopping.

And if you're looking for personalised Christmas ornaments, they've got those too! The Gundaroo Puzzler team can create an ornament with the recipient's name on it, making for a truly personalised Christmas gift.

Their products are made from locally sourced materials and are 100% Australian made. Many of their designs are commissioned from local digital artists, supporting other local artists as well.

The events of 2020 saw a resurgence in the popularity of puzzles, and Kim and Lia couldn't be more pleased. "The puzzle business supports our sheep farm and has been invaluable in helping us make it through tough years".
