Creating ocean inspired art & homewares with Belinda Doyle

Belinda Doyle is a talented artist who creates stellar photography, resin art, and homewares inspired by her love of the ocean.

Proudly born and raised on the NSW South Coast, Belinda has a strong affinity with the ocean, the coast and the natural beauty that country living offers. This connection is evident when you see her range of photographic artworks and resin art pieces.

While many of her photographic artworks feature seascapes, Australian native flora, fauna, and country scenes, Belinda also loves to use aerial photography. The beauty of aerial photography, she says, is that "You are able to see the ocean like never before; it showcases the depth, grandeur and the way the land changes over time".

And you could be forgiven for thinking you're looking at an aerial photograph when you see Belinda's resin work, which mirrors her actual aerial photography perfectly. Looking at her resin pieces, you instantly feel the warmth of the sun and the calm relaxing nature of the ocean.

Belinda also loves to work with timber and spends a lot of her time creating her bespoke resin and timber homewares.

From cutting boards to serving platters, the warmth of the wood combined with the coastal vibes from the resin adds a modern, fresh pop of colour to any home. In addition to homewares, Belinda applies her resin skills to her popular resin surfboard wall art - like a decorative mini surfboard for your walls!

Belinda has worked hard to build her art business while raising two sons with her husband on the South Coast. Starting in 2016 as a hobby, Belinda then started selling her products at local markets. There, she was able to share her knowledge of the area and introduce her art into people's homes. Five years later, attending local markets and meeting people is still Belinda's favourite part of her job.

Belinda's work has been featured on Today, the Facebook Gift Guide and in Country Living magazine. It would look at home in any high-end design boutique.

If you are looking to share your love of the South Coast with someone or looking to bring a little bit of the beach to your home, take a look at Belinda's work here, and we're sure you'll find that extra special something.
